In addition to its home market in Czechia the company operates primarily in Northern Europe as well as other international locations. One of its notable projects is the glass façade on the Aula Medica building of the world-renowned Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, where the Nobel Prizes are awarded. WIEDEN is also recognized for its ability to tackle technical challenges and successfully execute complex projects worldwide.
The Czech pavilion is a prime example of the logistics and installation of an architecturally demanding façade, entirely manufactured in Czechia and completed in Japan in record time.
Milan Nocar, CEO of WIEDEN
Among WIEDEN’s latest projects is the Czech National Pavilion at EXPO 2025, marking the company’s first experience with glass façades in the Indo-Pacific region. The pavilion’s façade is both technologically and architecturally unique – its combination with a wooden structure creates an exceptional visual and technical concept. WIEDEN installed the façade in collaboration with the Japanese construction company Daisue, ensuring a smooth execution that led to the structural completion nearly three weeks ahead of schedule in early January 2025.
