About the Company

Founded by Prince Alois I of Liechtenstein, Květná 1794 has been a symbol of precision handcraft and artistic glassmaking for over two centuries. The company specializes in blown glassware, renowned for its exceptional thinness, vibrant color palette, and high durability thanks to a titanium infusion. While deeply rooted in European markets, the glassworks has also expanded into the Indo-Pacific region, with its glassware featured in several Michelin-starred restaurants. Following years of ownership transitions, Květná 1794 became part of the Czech family-owned AF Group in 2023, enabling it to further develop the legacy of Czech glassmaking and bring exceptional products to the global market.

Glassmaking mastery is our national pride, an integral part of our culture, and a key element in showcasing Czech craftsmanship at EXPO.

Květná 1794 at EXPO 2025

Květná 1794 supplies the Czech National Pavilion with handcrafted crystal glassware, featured in the prestigious table service of the Czech restaurant and the rooftop CTP Lounge. The pavilion boasts hundreds of pieces from the Euporie collection, distinguished by its delicate, web-like pattern that combines exceptional fragility with high durability. Another highlight is the Telesto collection, specifically developed in collaboration with wine experts, with nearly 700 pieces in use throughout the pavilion.

Through its presence at EXPO 2025, Květná 1794 demonstrates that Czech glassmaking is not only alive but also evolving. Each glass piece in the pavilion is a tribute to more than two centuries of Czech craftsmanship, reinforcing the heritage embodied in the Czech National Pavilion itself.
