About the Company

Founded before 1712 on the Harrach estate, Harrachov Glassworks has been producing top-quality hand-shaped glass for over 300 years. Harrachov glass has adorned the interiors of royalty worldwide and has received numerous international awards since the mid-19th century. Since 1993, the glassworks have been privately owned by the Novosad family, who preserve traditional craftsmanship while offering visitors an insight into the art of glassmaking through guided tours and a museum featuring up to 5,000 exhibits of Harrachov glass. Each year, 60,000 visitors from around the world are drawn to the site, not only for its unique historical glass-cutting workshop from 1895 but also for its brewery, restaurant, and beer spa hotel. Since 2021, the complex has included two cultural landmarks—the Chapel of St. Elizabeth and the relics of a quartz crushing mill.

Our glass continues a long tradition of participation in World Expos, which began at the London EXPO in 1851.
