Established by the Ministry of Agriculture in 1991, Czech State Forest is dedicated to sustainable forestry management and the stewardship of more than 38,000 kilometers of watercourses. The company’s strategy follows principles defined at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, aiming to create stable and diverse forests resilient to climate change.

Czech State Forest played a significant role in the construction of the Czech National Pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka by supplying 900 m³ of raw spruce wood. Through this contribution, the company supports sustainability and the use of renewable resources in construction while also representing Czech forestry on the global stage.
Czech State Forest actively contributes to Czechia’s raw materials policy, which has been highly recognized by the European Commission. EXPO 2025 provides an excellent opportunity to share Czech expertise and gain new insights into environmental sustainability, one of the exhibition’s main themes.
