Imprimere 2025 Pink cast glass, oak 216 x 115 x 6 cmRony Plesl’s large-sized glass sheets in the first niche at the exhibition’s entrance communicate with the sculptural group of crystal trees in front of the pavilion. The glass sheets feature four tree barks of real hundred-year-old oaks unfolded into a surface. Rendered in soft pink color, they induce an ambiguous sense of real human complexion. What was originally a stoically calm scene of a monumental sculptural group shared a much more intimate message within the niche space, talking about the relation between human and nature and alluding to the unity of life on the planet.
