Czech National Day is the highlight of the cultural programme of the Czech Pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka. This festive day, held on 24 July 2025, will bring together Czech music, performing arts, and creativity in a unique programme specially created for this occasion.
The highlight of the National Day Program will be the cultural performance "THE STRINGS", featuring a unique collaboration between three renowned Czech ensembles and a singer:
The Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, internationally acclaimed for its rich musical tradition and excellence, will bring the grandeur of Czech classical music to the stage.
Cirk La Putika, a groundbreaking contemporary circus company, will captivate the audience with its innovative blend of theatre, acrobatics, and visual storytelling.
The Czech Radio Children's Choir, celebrated for their pure and enchanting voices, will add a touch of youthful harmony to the performance.
Czech singer AIKO, Czechia's Eurovision 2024 representative, bringing her distinct musical style to the celebration.
The day will also feature an exhibition dedicated to Alfons Mucha, providing a unique insight into the work of the world-famous Art Nouveau master, whose art is immensely popular in Japan.
