World EXPOs are a great opportunity to strengthen the national brand and connect the global market with Czech companies. At EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan, Czechia will present a technologically innovative National Pavilion, which combines the rich tradition of Czech glassmaking with modern architecture. It will also be the first wooden structure without a metal frame in Japan and will be built mainly from Czech wood and glass.

Become part of this prestigious event and seize the opportunity to expand not only into Japan but also into the broader Indo-Pacific region.

"World expositions represent a unique global platform where nations, the largest world corporations, and organizations meet and showcase their latest ideas, solutions, and technological innovations. It is essentially the equivalent of the Olympic Games for the non-sporting world and a fantastic platform for strengthening national brands. Be part of it and push the boundaries of business with us at EXPO 2025," says Ondřej Soška, the Czech Commissioner General for EXPO 2025.

Indo-Pacific: A Key Region for Czech Export

The Indo-Pacific, a strategically important region stretching across two oceans and four continents, is one of the fastest-growing economic centers in the world. The area includes 40 countries whose combined GDP growth averages nearly six percent annually, making it an indispensable market for Czech exporters.

Demographic Potential
With more than four billion people, representing 65% of the world's population, the Indo-Pacific is home to a young and dynamic workforce. Rising living standards in the region are strengthening the middle class and increasing purchasing power, creating new opportunities for Czech companies in trade and investment. This demographic growth is becoming a key factor for developing business activities and expanding into new markets.

Strategic Location and Export Importance
The Indo-Pacific lies at the crossroads of key trade, transportation, and maritime routes, which are vital for export-oriented economies like the one of Czechia. Access to these routes provides Czech exporters easier and more efficient entry into markets in the region, contributing to the diversification and strengthening of the Czech economy.

Economic Strength of the Region
The economic importance of the Indo-Pacific region is undeniable – the countries in this region generate more than 40% of the world’s GDP, and it is expected that by 2040, this share will exceed 50%. The region is home to five of the world’s fifteen largest economies by GDP share, including Australia, India, China, South Korea, and Japan. Moreover, it hosts leading international companies and investors focusing on technology and innovation, making the Indo-Pacific an attractive target for Czech businesses.
